What are apple chips?
Apple chips are chips made from thinly sliced apples then baked. These are low in calories, fats and are full of nutrition.
Best Apples to Use
There are hundreds of different types of apples in the world.
When you visit a grocery store, you will find several in front of you, and choosing the one that is perfect for apple chips might seem like a big decision.
The thing is, you can choose any kind you want.
Here are some good choices to use if it seems overwhelming:
- Granny Smith
- Pink Lady
All these varieties are naturally sweet.
How Long do Apple Chips Last
Place them into an airtight container or jar on the kitchen counter, and the apple chips are good to go for about 5 to 7 days.
However, you want to make sure they are completely cool before storing them. If you store warm apple chips, they can develop condensation and the crispiness will be lost.

Apple chips are just like potato chips, except healthier.
You can store these just like potato chips.
Store them in an air tight container or even a plastic bag.
