If you are unfamiliar with jalapeno poppers, they are jalapeno peppers that have been sliced in half, with the seeds and stem removed and then stuffed most often with a cream cheese mixture, although goat cheese is another popular option.
Sometimes, the stuffed jalapeno poppers are wrapped in bacon or fried after being dipped in panko breadcrumbs. Many times they are topped with a shredded cheese.
The stuffed jalapenos are typically deep fried, although we are using our air fryer for these.
